He was a professional ice dancer before pursuing a career in acting. Ianevski was only 16 years old when he was cast to play the role of Viktor Krum in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. He later reprised his role in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1. After his work in the Harry Potter franchise, Ianevski continued to act in various films and TV series in Bulgaria.
